The Flagstaff Dialect

Courtesy of Peter Sean Bradley comes this map of American English dialects.

I learned from this map that Flagstaff has a distinctive dialect. A link was provided to an interview with R. Carlos Nakai as an example. I had never heard him speak, so I expected a Navajo accent, but he really does have a Flagstaff accent!
